The browser enforces this: the site’s security policy only lets the page talk to the code libraries’ servers and an anonymous usage counter (tool name, file type, size range). A request carrying your file to anywhere else would be blocked before it left.
Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run the tool. Or turn off Wi-Fi once the tool has loaded; it keeps working.
How it works
Pick your exam and get every image it asks for at the right pixels and KB, checked against its 2026 notification.
Application portals reject a photo that is 51 KB when the limit is 50, a signature in capital letters, or a photo of the wrong shape, and each exam has different rules. Here you pick the exam and see exactly what its current notice asks for, with a link to that notice: the photo, signature, thumb impression or handwritten declaration, each with its own pixels, KB range and format. Add a phone photo to each and drag or zoom it inside the exact frame; a face guide shows where your head should sit. Signatures, thumbs and declarations photographed on paper are cleaned up automatically: shadows and grey paper become white and the ink gets darker, so they stay readable at 140 × 60 pixels. Each file is then saved as large and sharp as the KB limit allows, and if a small image comes out under the minimum, it is padded up to it without changing the picture. A checklist mirrors what the portal checks, so there are no surprises on upload. Several exams changed in 2026: SSC and the Railways now take your photo live by webcam, and NTA no longer asks for your name and date on the photo, so many sites still list rules that no longer apply. Nothing is uploaded; everything happens on your device.
How to use it
- Pick your exam. The sizes it asks for load with a link to the official notice.
- Add each image. A phone photo is fine: drag and zoom inside the exact frame.
- Check the list. Format, pixels and KB are checked the way the portal checks them.
- Download. One file per upload, already named and sized.
Frequently asked questions
- What size should the photo be for an exam form?
- It depends on the exam. IBPS and SBI want 200 × 230 pixels and 20–50 KB; UPSC wants your face to cover 75% of the photo at 20–200 KB; NTA exams (NEET, JEE, CUET) want 10–200 KB. Pick your exam and the right size is used.
- How do I reduce a signature to 20 KB?
- Pick the exam, add a photo of your signature, and it is cleaned, cropped and saved under the exam's limit, such as 10–20 KB for IBPS, SBI and SSC.
- My file is too small. How do I increase it to the minimum KB?
- That's done for you: the quality is raised first, and if the image is still under the minimum, filler is added to the file so it meets it. The picture itself doesn't change.
- Does SSC still need a photo upload?
- No. Since 2026 SSC takes your photo live by webcam in the application form. The signature (about 6 × 2 cm, 10–20 KB) is the only image you upload.
- Why does the portal still reject my file?
- Check you picked the right exam, and that the file you upload is the one downloaded here, not a screenshot or a copy re-saved by another app. Notices change between cycles, so compare with the official link shown on the page.
- Are my photo and signature uploaded?
- No. They are cropped, cleaned and compressed in your browser, on your device. Location and camera details are removed from the saved files.
