How it works
Scale an image to specific pixel dimensions or a percentage of the original, with an aspect-ratio lock and quick 10 / 25 / 50 / 75% presets.
Type new pixel dimensions or click a percentage chip. The aspect ratio is locked by default (typing a new width auto-updates the height), tap the lock icon to unlock and stretch freely. Choose the output format (JPEG, WebP, PNG) and quality for the lossy formats. The result block shows the new dimensions, file size, and saving percentage, with a green / amber indicator for whether the resize made the file smaller (almost always) or larger (rare). For upscaling, the maximum is 4x the original. Browser canvas resampling is used (bilinear). For very large reductions or scientific-grade resampling, the result is good but not lab-quality. Output filename has -resized appended with the new extension.
How to use it
- Drop your image. The current dimensions load into the input fields.
- Set the new size. Type a width or height, or click a 10 / 25 / 50 / 75% preset — the lock keeps the aspect ratio.
- Pick format and quality. Choose JPEG, WebP, or PNG output and a quality for the lossy formats.
- Resize and download. Check the new dimensions and file size, then download the -resized image.
