How it works

Add a diagonal text watermark like CONFIDENTIAL or a logo image across every page, with live preview before you save.

Choose text or image mode. Text watermarks let you set the text content, font size (30 to 180pt), and opacity. The watermark is drawn at a -30 degree angle, centered on each page, in a neutral grey. Image mode accepts PNG or JPG, scales as a percentage of page width, and respects the same opacity slider. A live preview of page 1 shows you exactly where the watermark lands before you commit. Applied uniformly to every page. Output is a new PDF with the watermark composited in (it's burned into the page, not a separate annotation). Built on pdf-lib + pdf.js for preview rendering, all in the browser.

How to use it

  1. Drop your PDF. Drag the PDF into the upload area.
  2. Choose text or image. Type watermark text, or switch to Image mode and pick a PNG or JPG logo.
  3. Adjust size and opacity. Use the sliders and watch the live preview of page 1 update.
  4. Apply and download. Hit Apply — the watermark is burned into every page and the new PDF downloads.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a logo as a watermark?
Yes. Switch to Image mode and pick a PNG or JPG. Use the scale slider to size it as a percentage of page width.
Does the watermark go on every page?
Yes. Same position, same opacity, same size, on every page of the PDF.
Can the watermark be removed later?
Not easily. It's burned into the page content, not stored as an annotation. Anyone who wants to remove it would need to re-render the page.
Is my PDF uploaded for this?
No. Watermarking runs locally via pdf-lib. The file and the watermark image both stay in your browser.
