How it works

Render a slide deck to PDF, one slide per PDF page, via LibreOffice in the browser. No upload.

Drop a .pptx or .ppt and the tool renders it through LibreOffice WASM (one-time ~300 MB engine download on first use, then cached). Each slide becomes a PDF page at the deck's slide dimensions, preserving fonts (if installed in LibreOffice), images, shapes, text boxes, and colors. Animations and transitions don't exist in PDFs, so those are flattened to the final state. Speaker notes are not included in the default export. For presentations using custom corporate fonts not bundled with LibreOffice, expect font fallback to a similar generic, which may shift text slightly. Output is a flat PDF you can share, print, or archive. Note: the LO WASM bundle isn't fully self-hosted yet; the tool will return an honest error message until it's deployed.

How to use it

1. Drop your deck. Both .pptx and legacy .ppt are supported.
2. Wait for the engine on first use. The LibreOffice WASM bundle (~300 MB) downloads once and caches.
3. Convert. Each slide becomes a PDF page at its original dimensions; animations flatten to their final state.
4. Download the PDF. Share, print, or archive the flat PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Does each slide become a page?

Yes, one PDF page per slide at the slide's original dimensions (16:9, 4:3, custom).

Are animations or transitions preserved?

No, PDFs don't support animation. Animated content renders to its final state.

What about speaker notes?

Not included in this export. They'd require a notes-pages export mode, which isn't currently exposed.

Is my deck uploaded?

No. LibreOffice WASM runs in your browser.
