# Bank statement PDF password: SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis and more

> Every bank locks its e-statements differently. Pick your bank, type the details it uses, and the password is found for you.

Open the tool: https://yourbrowsercandoit.com/bank-statement-password

Open SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak and other bank statement PDFs. Free, no signup. Runs entirely in your browser; files are never uploaded.

## How it works

HDFC Bank uses your numeric Customer ID. ICICI Bank uses the first four letters of your name in lowercase and your day and month of birth, so Sujit Sawant born on 5 January has suji0501. IndusInd uses the first four letters in capitals with DDMM, so Raj Mathur born on 25 February has RAJM2502. Axis Bank uses four capital letters of your name with DDMM, or with your Customer ID. SBI statements are reported to use the last five digits of your registered mobile and your date of birth as DDMMYY. Kotak, Canara, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank and YES Bank formats are reported by users rather than published, and where reports disagree, every version is tried. Each rule shows whether it comes from the bank's own page. Pick your bank, type the details, and the statement opens on your device. You can then save a copy without a password, for a loan application or your accountant.

## How to use it

1. **Drop the statement PDF.** The bank is guessed from the file name when it can be.
2. **Pick your bank and type your details.** Only what that bank's rule uses.
3. **It opens.** Save a copy without a password.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the HDFC Bank statement password?

Your Customer ID, the number you log in to net banking with.

### What is the ICICI Bank statement password?

The first four letters of your name in lowercase plus your day and month of birth (DDMM), such as suji0501.

### What is the SBI statement password?

Reported as the last five digits of your registered mobile number followed by your date of birth as DDMMYY. A statement requested by SMS uses the four-digit code you sent.

### Why does it say “Reported by users”?

Some banks don't publish their format. Those rules come from consistent reports, and every reported variant is tried.

### Are my PDF and details uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and every password is tried in your browser, on your device. Your name, date of birth and PAN are never sent anywhere or saved.
